Hi,
I have designed menus with a silhouette of a girl on the front. The menus will be stapled - I told the client I'd put a ribbon on. He said he will leave it up to me about the ribbon. I was hoping to punch holes in the menu and sew the ribbon through, but the printer said it's going to be very time consuming.
I still want to put it on as it really brings out the silhouette of the girl. Is this good idea to put a ribbon on menus or not? The printer said they might get caught on things. I think it's really pretty, but I don't want the ribbon to fray. Yay or nay? Thx very much

If it's eatable I'm all for it. :D How many menus? I think overtime they will get worn, however.

What is the likelihood of food/beverage getting on the ribbon/menu?

Sure, over time they will get worn, but over time, inflation will cause the price to change so the owner will be replacing the menus in a year or so anyway.

I say go for it.

If you can, find a ribbon that has a almost plastic quality but still looks classy. Easier to keep clean.
