Hey guys,

i would like to talk to the pros amongst you or the ones that are through the exciting phase of applying for design school.

Do you have any hints and tips how to set up an amazing portfolio?

I have read about a dozen articles now and my head is spinning .... i got a general idea, but i lack the good softwar like Illustrator or Photoshop CS3 to make good pdf portfolios.

Still i want to deliver quality.

I would like to put drawings, sketches, but also paintshop work and short films into it.
Possibly all on a DVD - but i am also thinking of handing in a map for photographs and drawings...

Any ideas? Please pm me.

Thanks a zillion.

Always have your portfolio in print format incase the supplier can't read a CD/DVD, lacks a computer to do so at the time (dead computer), or something happens to the disk when in transit.

If you lack Illy and PS, what do you use?
