Hello,
I'm currently a graphic design student working on a packaging project for a new brand of potato chips. I'm curious to know if anyone has an suggestions as to how to actually make a mock up "plastic bag." One possible idea is using a thin, double sided gloss paper and then constructing it from there. Any suggestions?

Check with your tutor first - do you actually have to produce a mock up?
I'm not sure that any paper will have the same feeling as a commerical chip packet.

They're called Crisps - not Chips - chips are hot and come with fish

French Fries (or just "Fries")

Timk, you might want to clarify: Are you required to produce a prototype, or just a mockup? A prototype would be as close as possible to the actual product, with a real substrate and printing method to match. A mockup is to final size and shape, but just a regular proof, trimmed out and mounted to display board.
I agree rehab-plus its a pvement, not a sidewalk!

It's not a pavement or a sidewalk, it's a footpath!
