Hi,

I have been asked to design a surround for a stand. The size of the stand is (Base) 830mm(h) x 1010mm(w), we are just going to keep the front simple with the company logo centred with contact details underneath it. The problem is the front of the stand is in two sections LH facing 830mm(h) x 405mm(w) and RH facing 830mm(h) x 605mm(w), how do I make sure the logo lines up on both panels and how do I break the logo up so that one portion goes on the LH side and the remainder on the RH side. I have the logo in eps and ai format and was going to design the surround in Illustrator CS. I dont have a great deal of experience in Illustrator ...

I am going to speak to the printers at the beginning of next week but would just like a heads up if someone can give me one.

Cheers.

Just send it as one long panel with the break mark indicated with a vertical crop mark top and bottom. The printer will want to do the rest. If at all possible, do the split between letters rather than through them.
