This is a car illustration i did a while back using xara xtreme.

Thanks Red, I love xara too, I do a lot of my graphics with it and then import to adobe. I did not know you also used it. :)

Hmmm...I've never used xara. Honestly I don't think I've even heard of it.

Those 80's Lambos used to be 'all that' but after looking at them closely they were so 'geometrically shaped' or something. Cool cars but look more like shapes all fitted together. The new ones have much more 'flow' to them.

Either way...nice work on the illustration. Is xara a vector-based software, or is it raster-based? The detail you've got in it looks fabulous. This is one of the best car illustrations I've seen in a while! Nicely done! Shodows are good, reflections are good and the sky looks sweet as well!

Yes Tony Xara Xtreme is Vector based .. its can create some pretty amazing results. It makes me wish I could draw better lol :D

cool! I need to explore 3D more....theres so many tho! Can Blender do work like this?

Ynot thank you for your kind comments, I draw that a amouse back a few years ago. Did not even have a scanner. Xara is vector base but you can also mix raster with it too. You can also use photoshop plugins on the raster images and ton of other effects as well. The xtreme pro also has pantone and cmyk export and pdf for press as well,which i use often.

Designvhl that is not 3d it is 2d that i did to look 3d, some do mistake it with 3d.
