So my band has to print some new shirts and its so impossible these days to figure out what people like on shirts and also to be original so i just made some shirts that i think would sell.. On the first shirt we are possibly going to go with a black shirt with metallic gold print thought that might look cool and the second is just as is. Tell me how you feel ;-) and if you want to listen to my band to see what kind of music it is feel free.

The orange one is pretty but too pretty. It's not something that boys are likely to wear. The black one is better. Both sexes would wear that one.

I dunno. I like the image, but the placement of it might put a few people off. Even blokes would rather the illusion that a detailed white on black image provides was positioned to broaden thier chest rather than widen thier gut.

The background made me think of the portcullis on the reverse of the UK 1 penny. not exactly relevant, but thought you might find that interesting, especially as the design itself reminded me of the reverse of a one pound coin.

The qestion overall at the end of the day is still a T-shirt
you should look into different styles of Tees -cut of sleves and the sporting look you would be surprsed at the low cost if buying bulk

I think your design design skills are very good; however, being a professional tee shirt wearer (and a male), I don't see one here that I would wear. The designs are very good, however the placement on the shirts (as has been said before) is not very appealing to me. Maybe you could simplify and raise the design up toward the collar more and that would help... just a thought

As an addendum, having looked at a bunch of the tees that I own and love, the focal point of the design on most all of them seems to be about three to four finger widths down for the bottom edge of the collar seam. Just an idea about what seems to be pleasing....

I normally wear band shirts, well that is heavy metal band shirts.
I really like the first 1 and I don't see a reason why boys dont wanna wear it.

But I must say that these styles you use on your shirts are really common here in The Netherlands.
So the designs aren't out of date and thats a nice thing. =3

Thanks for the comments

in our style of music the guys and girls both wear really feminine shirts alot of guys will wear a pink shirt with lime green on it not exactly sure why... and for the second design i am def going to re think the placement.

Strange...When i just look on the first shirt and linted to the few firts chords of your song on myspace...I just didn`t feel that..for this jerne...well..i guess times have changed.

For this jerne of music it fits? I thought that the first one was really way too nice for that jerne of music. i also listen to ...

totally dig both the designs!

the white shirt is sick! i'm a dude and i'd rock it.

the black t might look better if you drop the background pattern and just move the crest up to the chest or move the crest up and keep the pattern that might work too.

Being in a band myself, and doing all the design work, I tend to lean more towards advertising than making a nice pretty shirt. Although I would wear both of these designs, you should be empasising the band name as much as possible. A simple logo, nothing to draw the attention from the band name, and big text for the name, as big as possible. To read the actual name of the band on those shirts I would need to be within talking distance of you, if the letters were 3 inches high, I could read it from 50 paces. Not only do you want to please your fans, you are selling shirts so that your name gets out. So just keep that in mind, and remember the people wearing them want to advertise the fact that they like your band too, cos if they like you that make's them instantly cool, yeah?

So yeah, are you signed? My band signed a production deal last december, we're doing an album this year, and we'll have our first single out next month :) We're changing our name and doing a big myspace launch so unfortunately, there's nothing you can listen to online right now. But it's all exciting stuff.

Yeah we are signed to our managers label which is really a trampoline label to get it to bigger and better things but we are about to start working with the agency group so good things should be in the future and cant wait to hear some stuff from you band god bless.

Yeah, we are doing something very similar under our development deal, so we're doing a single next month followed up with an album later this year. I think that the industry is broke at the minute, so people need to see results before they sign you and spend a fortune, and doing things off your own back is the way to go. I think we've had a few chats with the agency group too, small world. The sad thing is, it's who you know, not what you know. Nevermind though cos now we have a deal with someone who knows someone, and they know someone, and so on and so on.

Both designs are good with the suggestions made earlier...
another idea is an off the shoulder placement of the second tee graphic (I'd probably lose the pattern behind too)
