Hey everyone! Long time, no chat. I just wanted to pop in and say hello and share some of my work with you. I hope to frequent GDF more often in the near future. Hope all is well with everyone.

I love your illustration style! Good stuff! You should submit some of your work to computer arts mag and see if they would put you in for exposure! :)

I also dig your sketchy style... Did you use Illustrator? A tablet?
thanx.

Glad you guys dig the work. I'm planning on circulating my work once I get a portfolio site up and running.
Bryan - I work directly in Illustrator with the pencil tool set to .5. I then set the brush diameter anywhere from 80-120 with a medium range variation (this gives the line work a hand drawn quality). I then set the stroke weight to .1 or so and go from there.

Thanks for the reply! I thought your stuff looked familiar... Threadless?
Keep it up.

Seems like your whole style is scatchy. Those works were for different Briefs right?
Your style is very clear. No one will be mistaken it is YOURS..
"It`s on the inside that matters" really impressed me...actually you made the guys SO ugly it`s amazing ;-)....;-)

^^ which you should be proud of ^^ :) I've had a CONSTANT struggle with trying to find my personal style...either that or I refuse to embrace what I've already got, lol.

Yeah Bryan - most of those are Threadless designs. It's What's On The Inside That Counts was a commissioned design.
Thanks for the positive feedback - it's funny to hear people refer to my work as having a style. I've always felt, in comparison to other artists at least, that I lack a truly consistent style. Cheers!
Yo yo yo...wut up G? LOL...I always wanted to say that.:p
Anyway...nice work. Haven't seen you around in a long time, glad to see you're still doin' this.
Your work looks good...as people have stated, you've definately got a style that stands out as your own.
Keep up the nice work and post more often!

I'm not a fan of the style, but the Walken one is pretty funny.

It's always going to be a matter of opinion whether that is a good or bad thing.

True. Mynock - that should be up for sale at Go Ape Shirts relatively soon.
