Illustrator Freezes Only When Saving EPS Files

Hello,

This just started happening to me this morning, everything was working compltly fine up until today.

basically, whenever I try to save an EPS file in Illustrator CS3 the program freezes and crashes. It only happens with eps, i can create and save .ai fine.

Anyone know what could be causing this?

How much scratch disk space do you have? An eps requires more than an .ai.

How would I find out. Does it correlate to how much free hard disk space I have, because that is 140gb.
