--Flash help--

I'm learning flash and was told to use the vegetable feature, what is it and what does it do? and yes, I tried the self help but had no success. :confused:

Maybe someone was pulling your leg? I don't use flash very much but I don't think there's a vegetable feature.

i've heard it from more than one source so i think that it is a nickname for another tool, but which one and what does it do?

They're talking about onion skins.. its the ability to turn the frame you're working on transparent (effectivly not actually) so you can see the frames before -


much in the same way that old school paper animations use a light box so the previous frame is visable.

Under the time line the button looks like a set of brackets.. you can set the number which sets the number of frames you can see...
