Hey guys, so I'm new to the forum and "Graphic Design" in general. I'm somewhat of an artist and was looking to add some Graphic Design to my portfolio. Figured I'd start with something that I find interesting. I made this concert poster for a Santana concert that'll be around here tomorrow. Just wanted to get some feedback on it. What works, what doesn't work? I am in no way a designer but I do enjoy it enough to want to pursue it more.

Comments and Crits would be highly appreciated. Thanks! :)

P.S- I'm aware the "Santana" logo is a little wonky, I made this at work and I don't have Illustrator here, just Photoshop. I'm also kinda limited on time so I can't clean it up right now but I do plan to.

I like it alot, nice colour, especially the photo of Carlos(did you colour correct?).

The only part I don't like is the text under the CD, I find it hard to read easily. I would switch it to a similar, tall font only sans-serif. Perhaps it would read better in black or red with an off-white halo as well.

Nonetheless, great job!

romancing_layouts: Yeah I agree with you on the text under the CD now that you mention it. Those serifs do make it hard to read since the text is small to begin with. I'll try what you said once I get home. I'm at work at the moment. ;)

Thanks for taking the time to comment.
