Hi everyone. Here I'll post past commission work and mock logos made with my free time. I'm hoping to improve with each one, and develop several styles.

You like your shadows and bevels too much. There are some nice base designs there, but lose all the bells and whistles.

We may be able to critique your personal ones. As for the comissioned ones, I think theys say more about the customers ideas on design than the designer.

Some people showcase logos with drop shadows under them that are not necessarily part of the logo. If it isn't part of the logo, best to leave it off.
If it is, remember it is a raster effect and depending on how it is applied it may not be scalable. Same goes for your glows, meshes, extrusions, and bevels. Illustrator's Extrude and Bevel functions leave a LOT to be desired in the realm of logo and sign making. There are a lot of things here that would make a signmaker cringe, from hairline outlines to gradients. If the only solution to a sign is a flat print on a board, how boring is that?

If these are rastered Photoshop logos... welll....bad form.
