Master page problem

This is really odd and i can't figure it out. Im using Indy CS2 and i have master pages applied to my spreads. When i try and place a logo on the page it shows the bounding box but the logo is behind the stuff on the master page. Isn't the master page supposed to be behind everything??

so has anyone had this problem? if so how can you fix it? i know i can just copy and paste the master page graphics onto the page but i would like to know why this isn't working.

it works fine on the first 2 spreads but the last 3 it doesn't

Well i figured it out :) I had the master page graphics on a layer that was above the layers i was working on. I went back into the master page and put all the graphics on the bottom most layer and all is well =]

I was just about to write that you can layer between your master items.
Bane of my existence lately. That and disconnected Master items on some pages but not on others... :rolleyes:
