Hi Guys, just finishing up a logo/mark for my brother's wedding and wanted your opinions on it, it's an ambigram, two becoming one idea. Is anything illegible or have I missed something? Thanks...

It is nice, but if it is two coming together, then why is there only one name... am I missing something.

I see "katie" and "andy". I think it looks pretty good compared to some ambigrams, which can look really contrived.

oh wow... I did miss it big time... I think it looks sweet.

looks great. but....(there's always a but) i would have liked to have seen the mans name first.

It's cute, I think it works. Just out of curiosity, why the man's name first, Gary?

after reading these posts i checked into it & the women is first on wedding invites. (except for the ones i've done) hmmph.

I think it looks cool. Ambigrams can be painfully difficult to pull off correctly.

yeeaaa I can only really do like 3 or 4 lettered ambigrams succesfully, and only really in blackletter fonts (I mean a whole bunch have it). This is well done... you little.. bleh...

I really like it! It has a very 'ribbon' feel and will look beautiful on an invitation with some matching ribbon.
I've only been able to pull off one ambigram. And it wasn't even that great.

I like a nice successful ambirgram - this is one of them. Very well done!

That is awesome! I just got married and did all my own invites, logo, etc. Now I totally wish I had done an ambirgram...that is sweet!

I think you have done a great job.
I can't imagine that in our culture the groom's name would be put before the bride's. But maybe in other cultures. Dunno, weddings just seem to be the domain of women.
I just did some advertising for a wedding venue and the headers were all "Dear Bride To Be".

Looks good, I would try to make the A in andy capital, if you can figure some way to do that. Also, I kinda want to see the heart rotated a little so that the bottom one looks like an ampersand at some point and the top one looks tilted, that way there wouldn't just be a tilted heart.

it is very nice. and i would like to say, you have great talent if you came up with that all on your own.
theres no way i could do anything close to that, with my current skills. plus the fact that i dont have the pateince to sit and think that much... even if i did create and answer a 600 question quiz!

Just got them back from the printers, I'm quite pleased with the result. It underwent a few changes, but both bride and designer happy, which is nice!
Thanks for the feedback

This is the only ambigram I ever created and I think it sucks. So kudos to those who can pull these off successfully.

i guess it often helps to have similar length names...
mine is 8 long, his is 6... i would have no idea where to start
Looks great!
I wasn't very familiar with the term, but looking it up I found some cool sites. This one caught my eye...

Wow! That site is pretty awesome, I've never spent that much time looking into ambigrams, mainly because it hurts my brain, but I should get into it. Seems like a good exercise.

Depend on your culture, usually women and their families contribute more to wedding party, they deserve of mentioned first before men.

a good website is www.ambigram.net , something like that. Has a tutorial and plenty of examples.
