I'm making a tshirt and need to print the image to an iron on transfer sheet. How do I print it backwards/mirror the image so when I iron it on, it looks right?

First, make sure you have transfers that require you to mirror the image...some transfers have you print a postitive/right-reading image.
If you do need to mirror the image, go to the tool bar, click and hold the rotate tool until the popout appears, and choose the reflect tool. (or press "O" on the keyboard to change to that tool.) now EDIT > SELECT ALL and double-click the tool in the tool bar. This brings up the Refelect dialog box. Choose Vertical, check objects, not patterns, and check the Preview box to see the results. If you like what you see click OK!

I would mirror the image in Illustrator as Garricks suggested instead of trying to figure it out in the print options.
