For job-skill building? Personal or hobby-level image editing?

For saving money in the short run?

For feeling comfortable with the people who shop at thinkgeek.com?

Both personal and job skill enhancing.
For saving money, yes of course GIMP is great because it's free. :cool:

No problem for skill-enhancing. But job market skills? Then I'd say stick with Photoshop. It doesn't pay to be a non-conformist when making your software skill building choices.
