Pic with 40D

So, as you know I got my 40D recently...of course I had a busy week which made going out shooting almost impossible last week.

I finally got out Sunday for a bit, but all my usual spots were pretty dry in terms of wildlife, so...this sparrow would have to do :)

I that 40D is really sharp. It's sharper than your last cam. Is it the same lense?

Mynock, for that shot I used my 100-400mm but I think the added 14 bit imaging of the 40D gives the image a little something. I did do some sharpening in PS using USM but very little....usually if you shoot .raw you'll have to do some sharpening.

What a beautiful shot!

I love little birdies. I just wanna scoop 'em up in my hands and pet 'em. Well, that goes for just about any creature that's small enough to fit in my palm. :D

Awww, nice shot! I have a fern hanging off my balcony that has 5 little baby birds in it!!! I've been watching them get bigger and bigger. The nest is so tiny, I don't know how they're all going to fit! It's cute hearing them chirp in the mornings when their mom is feeding them :) I love taking nature shots.
