I've been browsing some car magazines lately and really been eyeing the older 'gassers' when I decided I should do a rendering of what I'd call the 'new-school' gasser.
So, with that said, here's the first one...

I think something like this would be straight up bad-ass!!! So, who wants to build it?
Thoughts, comments? Or have I just lost my mind??

Keep 'em coming YNOT, I always enjoy something different than I'm working on. I wish I had the time/energy to do some illustrations outside of my day job.

Cool illy, but definitely not my style of car.... ;)
1 thing I noticed... why does the passenger side headlight have bumper under it that sticks out, but the drivers side doesnt?

I'm still cursing Dodge for making those 4-doors. Damn them!

...which will fail since it has 2 doors and eats gas like there's no tomorrow... I mean sure it'll sell like hot cakes at first, but then it will die off quickly.

That's why they're making them now...before the new EPA mileage regulations come into play. Get a real muscle car while ya still can :)

Look at the Magnum... hot cakes at first, then they stopped making it cause they can't sell them. Charger is headed that way too.
Don't worry though, the camero will follow the same path whenever it comes out. I mean, Chevy is only 4 years late to join the retro-muscle car era.

So far out of all the ones that have come out recently, the Challenger is the only one I'd drive. That thing is sick.
The problem with all of these new-era muscle cars is that they are pricing them way out of the average guys league. I'd love to have a charger or a GTO, but they priced them all so high there's no way to afford them.
Give me a stripped down model, with nothin' but motor and give it to me for cheap!
Oh well...maybe when I'm 50 I'll finally be able to afford one. I knew I should've chosen a better career path than a lame graphic designer. ;)
I've done a little 'updating' to this one...now how do ya like it?

Since when? Moore Speed since when? Now I need to know! You've peaked my interest.
Moore Speed is not a 'real' company...just a little something fun...a play on my last name.;)
I'd love to use the name, but it's already taken. :(

Nice addition with the headers! What are those under the front bumper? The only thing I can think of right now is that they look like leaf spring shackles-
Yep...leaf spring shackles are correct. That's how they got those old-school 'gassers' to sit so high in the front end. With the front end up and back end down, it gave better weight distribution and 'traction' to the rear wheels.

It's no Willys, but it's still pretty sharp. Wonder if any of the little ricers could be made over like that. Blasphemy! I can't believe I had that thought. How about the little Dodge Dakota as a gasser a la' 'The Little Red Wagon"...
