Hello:
I am new here, so I am trying something new. The old has worked for 28 years, but is no longer working, so I am new now. Everything, that is, except my portfolio.

I am repackaging. I could use all comments, both positive and negative. I encourage the harsh and actually derive a sincere active pleasure when I get a nasty comment... enough.

Just a defect of character. Back to being a consumate professional.

Any comments will be received with both gratitude and humility.

Best Regards,
Mike Scearce (aka: imgfx)

Ok I am new to this website, but I love poking my nose... so I did...

Right... I like your portfolio, but I guess it does only show one type of style... obviously yours and what clients require.. but it misses diversity. I would also say, but this is much more of a personal opinion that your portfolio works very much with pastel shades, perhaps rework a few pieces that are a tad more punchy.

But more importantly... and this really miffed me... that I was looking at the portfolio and it kept jumping to the next image (using Opera PC) I like to flick to thumb nails when I finish looking at an image... not when it tells me! :D

Your CV looks interesting... very interesting... but do you really have mange... its an awful disease, you must be scratching like mad... silly typo... so people spot this stuff... (must read back all posts... meh :))

I love the horse tee... whats the text between the legs... was that really needed??? Can I have one please :)

Oo ya. Ditch the auto image change. Some people like to look longer and study something a bit to see why you chose to do what you did.

Think about categorizing a little better. If you are going to put 'drawing' on your resume at expert proficiency, you should probably have a section devoted to that.

adjuct professor? Spell check spell check spell check.

Your jobs are varied and interesting but your responsibilities all run together. Either try complete sentences or separating them into easily digested chunks.

Also, you have quite a work history there and then suddenly in the skills section you list software proficiency. It was quite a downer. I think I'd ditch that altogether. Or make it a list if you feel you need it. I don't think you do. You have a skills summary up top but if the software skills down the bottom are all you have, something feels 'wrong'.
