my 15cents.
i think good mag covers are best left simple and have a high attraction level. (very tricky.)
for the muscle mag --- thought that the repetitive 'muscle.com' isnt necessary. the overall typos could be better. try playing aoround wtih the picture and words more. make it more interesting.

Looks good. I really like the 'muscle' one. I'm a car fanatic so I guess thats why. lol Very nice job, but you might pump the size of the car up some more. The 'sounds' one is a bit busy to me, but nicely done though.
