I want to create a script in Corel PhotoPaint version 9 or 12, where I can use the Image (or Mask selector) and when I draw a box around an image, it will automatically save the selection as a JPG and perform some basic effects such as Auto Equalize, Dust & Scratch Removal, etc.

The real problem is to perform a saving function. I mean , to save the JPG file in order ( like scan1.jpg , scan2.jpg)

I am scanning thousands of pictures, and I've found that placing all photographs on the scanner and making 1 scan is physically a time-saving effort. Once I have the file open in Photopaint (with 3 to 5 pictures), it would enable me to process much faster if I could simply draw boxes (mask or selection) around each photograph while it's automatically saving each picture with a unique filename incrementally.

I want to know where i can get this information or help and some scripts.

LOL! We must have been deleting them at the same time... I got crzzazzy errors when i deleted the one in the resources section!

NET.STAT - thousands???? I suggest you invest in a a hewlett packard scanner with a document feeder on it and use their proprietary software. They make scanners just for doing that.
Trying to do all that in Corel is going to end up with some right messy pics - especially with auto equalize and scratch removal. I don't think those filters are going to do what you think they are.

Some HP scanners have auto edge detect, auto crop, auto save and auto feed... I've worked with them before. I've also done batch scans the way you are thinking of doing them and trust me - it's not easy.

Corprolite happened.
