Wow. Ebay can really be a great source of entertainment.

When looking on Ebay for a haunted doll or companion a few things need to be kept in mind.

Number 1-never buy the doll that looks blurred in the photo. This doll could be retarded in the brains from shaken baby syndrome. Your spirit will not act right if it's spirit brains have been shaken loose. Many sellers try to get these dolls to sell with tricks of light and by trying to make it look like they are moving. Don't fall for this, psychic doctor bills can run high.

Number 2-look close at the auction. Does it look like they have been blinded by what they want to call an orb? If this is the case your new spirit could also be blind! Now you not only have a retarded spirit but also a blind one. This makes for a not so happy haunted doll.

Number 3-Dirty dolls need extra loving care. Are there cracks in it's head? Is skin peeling, clothes not matching? These things can also hurt the dolls feelings because grooming is always important.

Number 4-Buy a happy looking doll! When they are happy you can tell that the spirit is shining through. Can you see it's aura and if so is it a white or a light purple? If so then buy this doll it will make a great addition to your home.

Number 5- Always ask the seller if there has been any bad behavior from the spirit doll. Make sure there is no history of mental illness. Psychiatrists also can cost up to 300.00 per hour. Do you have that kind of money? If you do then a mental case haunted doll will be fine after all you can afford to fix it.

Number 6- Make sure that everyone in the family will accept the new member. A chaotic household makes for a doll that can be found standing over you with a pick axe. No one wants that.

My sister sent me a link once to a pair of haunted dolls for sale on ebay. She was just looking for whacked out goofy stuff to make fun of. She did well. We also found the face of Jesus in a dirty window selling for 10K. A lost soul trapped in a tree trunk. A chicken strip shaped like Jay Leno's face. You get the idea.

I was looking for evil stuff on ebay for that other evil thread and found that mermaid thing - was wondering if there were any more haunted dolls. There's like 3 pages! Ebay doesn't disappoint.

Hahahaha Frankster, that's a fun site. Wow, that elf head ashtray is enough to scare the daylights out of me! I see they have a frog coin purse listed, too!

So THAT'S why it always looks like their eyes are following you! Now I can rest easier at night knowing that those little bastards actually are planning my demise!

My sister got me taxidermy frogs playing pool the other year for Xmas - by the same guy that did the frog playing golf near the top o' the list.

It's a shame that site stopped having new content added just before I ran into it in 2004.

Thanks, but I'm not done yet...I want to make the knife disappear the way it came in. I'm learning Flash and Fireworks by baby steps...pun intended!
