I wear raspberry nail polish. Is that bad like red nail polish?

urstwile
05-14-2008, 01:39 AM
Well, since it's 2008, I wouldn't worry too much Buda. Plus you're from the future, you're supposed to be a trendsetter. :)

Of course :) How could I forget?

Whew! Another lacquer color crisis averted. :)

However, if you wear raspberry nail polish while sewing on buttons and darning socks, I am quite sure you will score many merit points.

budafist
05-14-2008, 03:01 AM
I don't darn socks. I buy new ones. I don't even consult my "husband". How many demerit points is that?

redneckrodney
05-14-2008, 03:04 AM
Not that many, since I just turn them inside out and put them on the wrong feet so the holes are in a different place tomorrow.

I love how they have to list suitable musical instruments, in case you thought maybe playing the armpit fart would count.

I warm my cold feet up on my husband, but I suppose that's ok as long as I'm very very gay about it.

Riya

Hehe, my score was 1.

budafist
05-14-2008, 04:10 AM
Surely if you were a great hostess whilst entertaining with your armpit fart symphony piece that would count? I mean and armpit fart rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star might not count but what about Vivaldi's Four Seasons? Especially Winter. That piece is beautiful.

My husband-to-be always puts his cold knees behind my warm legs to warm them up. How many demerit points is that? Or are points to be awarded and taken from wifies only?

urstwile

Apparently the test is for both wives and husbands, as in the wives can take the test themselves, or the husbands can take the test to score their wives. Pretty fairly balanced, I'd say.

frankster
05-14-2008, 04:36 AM
...and designed to boost a wife's self confidence too, seeing as even if you do all the good things and none of the bad you still can't score higher than the lowest level of wifedom.

urstwile
05-14-2008, 04:38 AM
I asked the Googe about it, to see if there was a hubby version, and no luck. But some were speculating the there was more to the test than just the above sample, because otherwise, you'd be right Frank. Then again, maybe that was the point.

My wife used to suspect that I was very weird (after twenty-one years, she no longer suspects) because I LOVE having cold feet, limbs, whatever, pressed against my bare skin. Maybe she thought I was a necro, but I say it's because like all women, she prefers to sleep under a minimum of fifty pounds of blankets for most of the year which makes me welcome just about any source of thermal relief. Okay, maybe not a dead possum, but just about anything.

Jackimalyn

So its niot just me? I LOVE my giant comforter. Ive been keeping the windows open lately so I can use them all :)

Riefnu

So does that mean women like really BIG.... blankets? ;)

Is it bad that I think some of the merits are still good?

You are weird. I've never heard of someone that likes cold like that.

I don't like heavy blankets, just normal blankets. I find that if a heavy blanket takes a peep over the side of your bed, it's all over because gravity takes its toll in no time at all and you end up with no blanket.

http://www.redkittiekat.com/p9/blink.gif What the heck does that mean?Um, you pretend to enjoy it when he gets off, rolls over and goes to sleep without thinking of your needs.

And the next morning you don't put antifreeze in his ornage juice.

I love the ancient thinking patterns .... anyone see Pleasantville?

I love that movie. Poor Dad has a meltdown because his dinner isn't ready and he can't function.... it throws his world off kilter. ;)

The present generation of humanity will always takes great delight in pointing out the absurdity of yesterday's social values. Makes you think what our great grandkids will think of many of things which we take for granted as immutable, sacred, or taboo. And the sad fact is that it doesn't really matter where you decide to look back to--absurdity is just part of the human condition.

Red Kittie Kat

Oh I agree completetly with that Broacher. I can see it now ... My great grandmother used to sit in front of this box called a Television and watch her "programs" called sitcoms and soap operas.

On my way to work there is a highway sign for a highway that'll take you to either Pleasantville or Sleepy Hollow. I find that amusing for some reason.

tuliptree

Mmmmm, eggs. I think you get a plus 5 for making eggs!

I took the short test you posted buda, I got a negative 7. I'm a bad wimmin.

So you're a half point away from being a half good woman then?

I also saw a pretty wedding dress on the way to work this morning. I didn't go into the shop or anything though. We're not planning a wedding just yet.
