That's cool! reminds me of this guy's work (http://www.themonsterengine.com/art.html). I think we had his stuff posted on GDF a while ago. I can't wait until my kid's pictures take a little more form and I can paint versions of thier work like that. Would make a great grandparent present.

Frank, what would be cool is if they painted/drew themselves in scene and then you recreated that scene with your kidlets in it as close as you can.
p.s. the monsterengine drawings are really cool.

Very cool....though the linky doesn't seem to work for me. :( Was hoping to find more....
I second the monsterengine drawings, really cool....inspiring!
Its amazing to me how much of our minds and imaginations change compared to the minds of children...

Wow! Those are great! Sadie is getting to the point where her drawings are really intense - I could have fun with this! Every day she brings drawings home from school and I keep every one of them! Lately she's been into ladders and volcanoes. A few weeks ago she was into worm planets which are very interesting. I might have to try this!

It also would be kind of fun to photograph the background, then in PS composite in elements of the kids' drawings...maybe even cleaned up and with filters and effects applied to make them look more realistic...or am I crazy?
