I'm wondering, is there life after 30 as a designer that is trying to get in the industry? Is there an industry cutoff time? Are we destined to stay freelancing part time while we rot in our full time jobs? Or is there anyone out there that has stuck with it and made it into the door after 30? Being married, parent, with a full time job makes it difficult to keep an up to date portfolio, so I'm forced to ask if anyone has made it how did you do it. Or is it time to hang up the gloves and leave it up to the New Jacks.
