I have the pantone formula guide solid coated and I see that the symbol with the 3 circles means that whatever pantone color I'm looking at can be simulated in RGB..but where is the code to simulate the color?

Knowing pantone, it probably costs extra or is in another $200 book... but I don't know really so can't help. Just wanted to make a jab and get closer to 1k.

Can any1 help explain? Even when I pick the same pantone color in photoshop or illustrator thats in the pantone book it turns out wrong..pantone 199 C for example..in photoshop and illustrator it turns out pinkish. So I kind of feel like I'm where I was before getting this book with tryin to eye a color to get it as close to the pantone color..am I missin something? whats the point of the RGB and CMYK symbols?

Jayme, GDF gets pretty quiet over the weekend. You might want to give this a bump Monday morning.

I don't have a current Pantone guide here at home, and it's an old solid/coated fan that just has the ink mixtures listed.
