When applying for a graphic design job do you think its better to send a PDF of some samples of my work or to give a link to my website(which is nearly finished) where they can view my work? (if a PDF then how many samples do you think should be included?)
I know its all about making it as easy and quick as possible for them to see your work but I'm not sure which is better! Any advice would be appreciated.thanks

Good question. As an Owner of a strategic graphic and web design studio in Melbourne, Australia I prefer just a resume and link to a website. But it probably depends on the company.

If you have a finished website, by all means include the link.
If they are specifically asking for a pdf with samples, you should give that to them as well.
The worst thing you can do is purposely not follow instructons.
Well, maybe that's not the worst thing you could do, but you might as well make it as easy as possible for them to hire you.

I think i'll just put the link to my website in my CV and provide a PDF with samples
