I'm rather unfimilar with writing a letter of resignation, as I've only ever actually done 1 in my life and that was just to quit a video store so it wasn't exactly super professional, but now that I'm moving on from the shop I'm at, I'd like to submit one that doesn't burn any bridges and is professional. Here's what I've got, I'd appreciate if I could get some feed back or suggestions for it. Thanks a ton!

A) Don't post peoples names in your letter on the forum.

B) Don't post your personal information.

C) Ditch the hyphen in "magazine".

D) I wouldn't say what you are going on to do. It's none of their business. I would loose the second sentence of the second paragraph, and merge the first sentence of the second paragraph with the third paragraph.

Don't know how to write a letter of resignation?

Use google, and research how to, or different variations:

I prefer the short and simple approach:

Dear Boss,

I QUIT!!!!!

Later, suckas!!!!!

Sincerely,
TBK

"It is these experiences..." sounds a little weird to me. How about:

These experiences have allowed me to advance in my career and qualified me for a position.....

LOL TBK....as classy as that is, I don't think it'll have quite the same effect that I'm looking for. I'll use that one when leaving a job I hate, or I'll just pinch a loaf on the bosses desk.

Thanks for the tips Ckret. I've reposted the with the suggestions (along with edited names).

Looks good... except for the widow on the last paragraph. ;)

Ewww...I couldn't serve a loaf even to someone I hated.

Pinch a loaf, blast a dookie, drop the kids off at the pool, all euphemisms for the same action...

I just think it'd be a great way to end your job with a really shitty company hahahah (pun intended)

Take the browns to the super bowl.
