It seems a designer at Lifetouch in Minnesota, a firm that prints yearbooks for high schools across the country, was a bit too eager with their photo retouching and altered students photos such as removing graphics from shirts, lengthening necks, putting heads on other bodies among other unrequested alterations.
Here's the story & video....

Yeah, but balou's link has video...that was one overzealous photochopper! I wonder if the company refused to comment...?
I'm thinking someone is out of a job. Lifetouch used to be our photography company, until a couple years ago. They have some issues to work out and I wonder if one employee didn't decide to take a little revenge.

Kittie, it's Flip4Mac. To play .wmv files in QuickTime. You can get it at either the Apple or Mactopia web site. The basic version is a freebie. :D

If it's .wmv, why would you need to use Flip4Mac? Aren't you on a PC, Kat? Maybe you just need a newer version of Windows Media Player.

Yep I am. I was thinking that too, but I am not very savvy about the newest player extentions so I wasn't sure that meant for a MAC specifically or was just the name of the extention.
This is a brand new PC with Vista .. wouldn't it have the latest or am I delusional lol ... I just assumed it would and I hate downloading stuff I don't need. :(

I hear ya. I can't advise on PC issues, though, sadly. I got my Mac right before they switched to Intel, so I can't run Windows.

Ok I'm embarrassed to say this ..... but I've been using Opera .. I usually always try another browser when having issues and I didn't this time ... I just tried it in IE and it played fine lol

Well, DOH! I knew you had that shiny new PC there, Kittie. Momentary lapse in memory.
MS stopped developing Windows Media player for Mac and just offers the third-party extension flip4mac, which allows .wmf files to be played in QuickTime.
Sounds like you need the WMV plugin for Opera. (I like opera too)
