I always assumed that 'flying' fish just jumped up the occasional small waterfall rather than swooping around like that. Awesome is the word I would choose as well :)

We saw a lot of flying fish when we went to Niue but none that flew for that long. We were on a little motorboat sitting on the edge and I guess the fish are just under the surface so when the boat comes past they all freak out as they get disturbed. Some of them were shimmery rainbow coloured. So pretty.
