I like it alot as well, love the short depth of field so there is no background distraction, it helps add to the color of the photo.

very cool! i really like the highlight/flare on the upper left on the bubble. how many shots did you have to take to get this one?

my daughter has a hand-held bubble making machine, so bubbles were in plentiful supply. I took about a dozen in all, 3 of which were like this. This is the only one which was remotely in focus. Some of the other, more general ones are ok - but have too much background etc.

very nice capture doc! you could see a little reflection or your surroundings :)

Try this again with surroundings with high colour and contrast, like flowers and see if you could get the same shot with a stronger reflection...that would make an awesome capture!
