Too cool!

Angelio Batle (http://www.asbworkshop.com/collections.html) makes graphite sculptures that you can use as a pencil.

Those are amazing! I wouldn't want to draw with it, 'cause it would would ruin the shape/use it up. What a cool idea- wonder how he came up with these...

Those are sweet.

What a cool idea- wonder how he came up with these...
I have some pure graphite pencils and really fat ones made by Lyra. Inspiration maybe? Once you figure out how to compress the graphite powder, I'm sure the molds would be pretty easy to make.

Surely the sculptor MUST have thought of at least one more long cylindrical symbol that would have been very popular.

Sometimes a pencil is just a pencil (unless you're into etymology. But that's another ....tail).

Really cool find buda! I think it would be fun to draw with the hand and watch it as it is worn down. I imagine most people would start by using the finger, then the most prominent knuckle. Definitely would be strange to grip such a wide piece of graphite, depending on the scale of that hand!
