this is booklet cover for a hospital. they want it to be contemporary yet formal, and it must include all these pictures. any feed back because im stuck.
I think you need to either stick with all squares or all circles. Also the layout needs some kind of pattern to follow it just looks like everything is thrown together right now.

Graphic Design Heroes! Call me Captain Type Caster. I’ve fought off “The Evil Cosmic Sans” for year but it seems “Dr. Extreme Untalent” keeps bringing him back. I must find a way to defeat this evil creature.

hey grfxboy, I did something similar in school, I like this kind of project, but I would like to ask you to consider your color choices. This cover makes me feel a little down or sad, a hospital is a place of hope and rehabilitation.
When i was researching for such a book, a visitors guide, I found that blue, green, and purple were more the right side of the color wheel to use. Red signified a little to close to blood, yellow and yellow-green represent sickness, Black reminds me of ...death, I understand you want formal, I would avoid blue...its cliche, consider using a lively green or purples or, maybe Earthen tones of red. like deep maroon. Color in such a subject should be very carefully chosen, depending on the use of the catalog. That is unless your clients obsessed with these colors, then you have no choice

I can't see it!!! I want to see it!!! OK I am going to have a hissy now!!! It opened up my reader, but there is nothing on the page. Blue, green and purple are real close to my fav. colors if used right. It still isn't coming up for me.

Colours are nice but I agree they don't inspire me to feel healthy - strange choice for a hospital.
I'm unsure about the way the circles are unevenly positioned. I like the layout on the right.

ok, hello. thanks grxboy
not too bad, as far as the picture of the group of people, I could barely tell it was a group of people, might need to work on that
with what you are doing i think it needs to be clearer
over all, love it
good job

I'd make the back match the front. right now there are two entirely seperate personalities fighting for control of this piece, and I think the mondrian on the right is more interesting. I don't like the black suare created from the negative space almost centereed on the front, I would rework the layout some, and add more contrast to the duotones boost the black some, the pics seem kind of washed out and old timey. Just change the levels or curves some and the whole piece will pop more.

Benjamin - are you using firefox? I get the same problem. When I get the error message I just paste the url for the thread into explorer and click the attachment and it works fine.
Not sure why it does that though!
