However I wouldn't use any of these in a design for sale or public display without consent from the photographer and owner of photos.

No - I need stock images which I can purchase and put into a design. (I've not been able to find anything like this on istock or the usual stock images sites which I use... and I don't have access to the dealership ad materials provided by truck manufacturers).

Can you contact the manufacturers? I used to work for an agency that did a lot of work in the auto industry and that's what I did. Perhaps you could browse the various stock sites looking for industry specific images. Or maybe even call the stock houses and make a request?
