I get this message from an client's artwork download site after each file download and then my browser application shuts down.
Any ideas?
It means that after each download I have to re-open Safari, re-enter username and password to download the next file.
I can work with it for the time being but I get this job once a month and it would be nice if there was a fix. Or if I could make some sense of it.

That makes no sense. I wish i was a bit more Mac savvy, mines in the repair shop atm >.<. Did you try searching safari help? It pretty much never helps but its worth a shot.

I had a search at some other forums and it seems it's Firefox will cure it. It's more to do with the Acrobat/Safari combo than Safari on its own.

Well, I'd assume the "RAISE" refers to raising an exception, though I would have expected it to say it was raising an exception.
A short translation of the error message would be: "ARGH! Something went wrong and nobody thought to tell me what to do about it! I give up!"

Thanks for the translation Hewligan :)
At least it's an interesting error, makes you think. Not like quark which just shows you some random sequence of numbers that don't actually relate to anything.

Are you sure they aren't the next winning lottery numbers?

Last raise I got was with a handler, I think. Hmmm.

You can get the random sequence of numbers message with any Windows application. It's just that Quark likes to show you it a lot more often than most :p
But I've never used quark on a windows machine.

Then what are Quark doing? I haven't seen a random number string error message on a Mac in years. Of course, I also haven't used Quark in years. Maybe that's not a coincidence...
