Hi all,

I'm working on a eBook cover and I've never "bound" one with spiral detail before. I'm a bit stuck on this and can't seem to find any resources. Can anyone point me in the right direction for creating a notebook spiral?

Thanks in advance!!!

Bri

Here are some tutorials that could help:

Thanks, SurfPark. I've actually seen these two already and they're not giving me the effect I'm going for. See this link (http://www.ezinequeen.com/optin2.htm) for an example.

Back in the day, that was referred to as a nineteen hole punch. I'm not sure what it is now.

Or coil binding. Those terms might help.

Or comb binding. There's another name, 3-letter acronym that's escaping me at the moment...

Edit: GBC binding.

We call that plastic comb binding. We also do wire binding here. The difference is that plastic can be altered to add extra pages. Wire can't.

It looks like they took a photo of the book cover and superimposed it on top of the comb binder.
