Hello all! New to the forum, first of many design forums I plan to join, list any other good ones if you have them in mind. Well I'm from NJ, currently work in the packaging industry for cosmetics and skin care. I like what I do, but plan to branch out into many other applications such as web and advertising.
Oh yeah, I'm super cool

Welcome aboard, Future! We have a member here who is from you. ;)
When you have a moment, please take a look at the threads posted here (http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=42). They will explain a bunch about the place, from the rules and regulations to frequently discussed topics to explanations regarding our many inside jokes.
Enjoy your stay!
Out of curiosity, where in Jersey are you? I live and work just outside Paterson.

Thanks for the love! I reside in Edison NJ and currently work in Holmdel. I went to Kean University for Visual Communications & Advertising. Even though I work full-time, I freelance a lot on the side to keep up a variety of projects - I don't want to end up becoming one dimensional!!!

She means me! But there are a couple of others too. One has delicious brains.
So welcome Future - from the future.
If we have just confused the heck out of you, it's because it's Tuesday morning where I am.

Hello Future.
We could use you here in Columbus, Ohio - everybody always says we're ten years behind the rest of the world!

Is it really Buda that's in the future, or are we all living in the past?

Welcome to the forum!
I'm from the near present. Unlike all these other people from the future or the past.:p

Reminds me of that old Cliff Richard song ... Devil woman ... "crystal ball on the table, showing the future or the past"

Ohio feels like the longest state ever. I've driven thru it a few times and it just never seems to end lol.

It is pretty long, about 5-6 hours from north to the southern tip. Try driving across Montana, now that state goes on and on (very beautiful though!)

From the south east side, to the northwest side of Gerogia.
You see a sign "Road construction. Next 89 Miles. Speed limit 50"

Buda and her neighbors are like 16 hours ahead. We ask her for weather forecasts and lottery numbers on a regular basis. Also makes celebrating holidays with her interesting. ;)
I imagine dealing with a vendor that's 12 hours off would be quite a challenge though.

i do print for the most part. recently i've been doing a lot of fabric patterns which is nice but getting old =] our company actually has a big factory in china so i have to deal with that 12 hour delay as well!

Super cool? In Jersey? THIS time of year? Do you have, like, a big walk-in freezer there or something?
Sorry. I've been up past my bed time a lot this week. Don't let them catch me or they are going to put me in the hug-me jacket again, and I hate that.
Welcome to the forum! ;)

hmm, you're probably looking for an avatar. That's the image that is displayed to the left of your posts. The profile picture only displays if someone clicks on your name to view your public profile. I do see it there, if that's any consolation. :)
