Howdy howdy!
Just dropping a line to say hello. I just got back into design about two years ago after about a 5 year hiatus of tinkering with Linux. I now do ad design and page layout at a local newspaper (that could go out of business any day now) while leaning about front end web design in my free time (xhtml, css, some javascript etc.).

Wow, thanks for all the welcoming messages! :)
No, I don't own a facto-bake oven LOL. I got the name from a Bukowski book. I looked up the definition and it seemed pretty fitting. Kind of a Jack of all trades, master of none.
Funny thing happened. I found this forum and told my girlfriend about it. She loves the Photoshop and Illustrator.
Anyways I wrote a post about using Dreamweaver in the Web Design forums talking about just getting back into it and not knowing where to start. I woke up this morning and on the coffee table there where two books, Dreamweaver CS3 The Missing Manual, and Bulletproof Web Design sitting there with a post-it saying "Happy...er...5th of July!"
Couldn't believe it! What a gal. Gotta run, I sooo have to make her breakfast.
