Put that girlie I drew the other day in perspective a bit. Here she is with today's attempt at drawing a male character. I think I did a bit better with his hands, but I need to do something with the boots and the chest.

Did you do that on the computer or by hand and scanned it in? I really think it looks very good.

Line art by hand then scanned in and colored in photoshop.

I need to get a tablet so I can start doing this stuff in illustrator. ATM it's just so tedious to do the line art for this stuff in Illustrator... and I'm much more coordinated with a pencil than with a mouse.

The hands are really good. The boots are kind of pirate style. He needs a manly sword. You have him a little sissy dagger. I think he needs a wider chest and some bigger biceps.

Nice start. Have you had any anatomy courses or studied on your own? You have a good eye for figures, and life drawing could move it forward considerably.
