I'm new here, but been doing graphic design for a while. and yes, I'm a genuine RISD grad, whatever that means.
I have a full time job at an engineering company as a sr. graphic designer, but I'm looking for a second job.freelance to pay for my sports bike and my painting supplies, which are the two things that I love doing - racing + oil painting.
I guess I'm here to look for some freelance stuff. I hate freelance but it's ok, when you have a full time job with awesome benefits.
anyway, hello. I'm in Atlanta area.

Welcome. Not sure if you'll find much work here since we're all looking for work too, but there's plenty of networking and crit and procrastination to be had here.

networking is good. procrastination is better, but need to make some $$.
if not, good company is always better than work. :)

There's a whole thread about those questions HERE (http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7225). I was pretty surprised at the variety of work we do!

I bought a house after I broke up with my ex gf.
I wish I had little less in my life instead of trying to fill my void with stuff.

You can give all your stuff to me.
Oh no wait...what am I saying? I'm about to move house, I'm trying to get rid of stuff too!

ahhh the "stuff" that clutters our lives... things we don't think of as stuff ... they are cherished belongings until we need to move ... then amazingly they become "stuff". ;)

I am realising how much stuff we have more because the house we are moving into doesn't have any cupboards or wardrobes to hide our unwanted stuff. It's a good thing though. Less clutter, more zen!
oh...and hello and welcome.
