I'm relatively new to web design and am looking to learn as much as possible about it. First off, does anybody know where I can find a lot of pre-coded web applications such as a rating systems, online polls and such.

Also, I am trying to find the easiest way to implement music into a website, preferably a small music player that can be placed off to the side of the webpage that can easily be turned on and off...

If this helps at all, I work with dreamweaver CS3 and know little about coding, I'm mainly a graphic designer.

thanks a bunch

You probably want to hunt around for some PHP scripts. To use them you'll probably need to know a little PHP yourself. Pre-made Flash movies might be another way to go.

Depending on your requirements, another option might be to get into a CMS or blog platform such as WordPress. These kinds of CMSs allow 'plugins', or widgets. So for example there are probably WordPress plugins for polls and music players.
