So the other day I bought 50 chocolate bars for $15NZ. (best before 1 September) So I brought a bunch into work today to share. Just as I was doing that, someone else was handing out free packs of sushi.
Awesome!!!
So be good. You get free sushi. :)

Being nice to people is the best thing you can do for yourself.
I'm nice to people for purely selfish reasons ;)

I'd never heard of the Ben Franklin effect before Franklin. That's a weird one. Maybe karma bypassed Mr Franklin? Or maybe he was real bad in a past life?

I read that quickly, and after your previous statement about sushi, it read to me as "I'm nice to pepople for purely shelfish reasons"! LOL!

Sweet free uncooked fish. The least they could have done is cooked it.

I'll send some of it your way k? You too Kittie.
I've been told today that I've got a guardian angel. Maybe that's true too. Or maybe I just have been ignoring any possible bad things that happen. I think that helps.

Wait, if you're a cat like your avatar suggests, wouldn't adore fish?

not necessarily. In fact, one of my cats has a fish allergy!

Goodness. How do you figure out that a cat has a fish allergy?

by cleaning up lots and lots (and lots) of vomit caused by eating a food that contains fish.
(glad you asked?) ;)

It wouldn't be a salmon allergy, would it? That's what Leonard does if he eats anything with salmon in it. Gack!

Poor Leonard indeed. :( I'd be very sad if I developed a salmon allergy. I had some in my salad today for lunch.

You know what else I reckon would make it taste better? Cooking it.
:p
Nah, not really. Cooked or uncooked, I'm just not fond of fish...

Ooh, my grandma made the best Spankin A Pita the other day. She sent me home with 6 piece, and I ate it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! If only it could survive a flight across the world and make it through customs!

07-17-2008, 05:35 AM
:D We certainly could give it a try! It might arrive soggy but who knows, a good crisping in the oven might revive it. We need to invent something that does for pita what dry ice does for ice cream. Like a crisping pack or something. Maybe it could be applied to bacon, too, for those long distance bacon shipments.

I wonder if you froze it, kinda like hot pockets, and they had crisper sleeves that came along with it? The idea of a granny making spankin' a pita is just sounding so awesome right now.
