I was coming at it from another angle. An outdoor BBQ has, at least around here, has been a very male "thing" to identify with coupled with the sport/marching chant furthering the 'male' orientation of the commercial imo.

What I was getting at is that sports chant + outdoor BBQ isn't very typical for a woman to identify with, which could be at least part of the reason for the dislike. So comparing whether it was a woman or man singing the chant and saying you would dislike it just the same is not exactly like: _insert women oriented commercial/setting/target vs a commercial like the one posted.

I hate commercials. :mad: I hate medical commercials, "Tell your doctor to prescribe this or that medication" WTF, who am I to tell the doctor what brand of medicine I need. "Do you have cancer, stay tuned for ............" or " Have you recently had a heart attack? WTF, I certainly don't need a tv commercial to remind me of my plight! Or lawyer commercials. "Have you recently found yourself in a car accident with a truck or car employed by a large company with deep pocket?" " If so, call Browner, Browneye and Dingleberry......" Go screw your self, rat bastids! Or the salesmen who really is yelling at you on tv like that loud mouth selling everything under the sun that is $19.95, like that stupid wire you stick into the wall instead of a nail to hang a picture. FU scumbag! Or salesladies who have a high pitched voice with a slight valley girl- Californian accent speaking a hundred miles an hour! Shoot me please!:eek:
