Logo feedback

Hi guys and girls

I'm not really sure if I'm going in the right direction with this one. I could really use some feedback to get this project moving forward.

The logo is for a company in Stockholm, sweden. They arrange community living for troubled youth with a poor living situation.

i just realized that this is too much "house", it's not a contracters company. I need to rethink this one.

What about adding a few people icons to show community...or multiple houses?

on the top one, you have light coming from two different directions, i.e., your gradient goes from light to dark, but your perspective on the house has it going from dark to light.

the second one fixes it.

i don't know why i felt the need to say that; another artist, much better than me, told me to watch that years ago...

I'm gonna keep working on it and post a new one soon. As I sais the concept is probably lacking and my "doghouse" will have to go.

Lessen the size of the house, as it overbears the logo and does'nt get the point of remebering the companies name across.

Although I am not sure about the whole dog house design above, I think that the new ones are a bit... sad/plain. Maybe at least add a bit more color....?

i like the type in the newer logos.
i think the house cheapens the logo a bit. not the kind of image you want representing an organisation such as this one.
the house thing has been done to death anyway. try something different, a bit original.
but try not to use components that will cheapen the design. keep away from cartoon-like illustrations.

The two latest designs are actually meant as one design. The one above for white background and the one on the bottom for color och image background.

It's black and white for now, just because I havent really decided on a palette yet, I just want to see if the design works.

The house looks cool - "vector illustration" style always works with logos - but it needs to show love somehow...

I know it's probably to late to comment but I agree with Danger Mouse, your technique is good but it doesn't say community living. The multi-house suggestion and icon idea is where you need to go.

Nice logos. I happen to like both approaches. However, the house logo would definitely need to resemble a house a little more and maybe have a little bit more gradient to it to add texture.

The second attempt is cool. Very simple and creative. Good job.
