I recently made this website for my company. Check it out and let me know what you think. I'm open to input regarding functionality and not just design especially on the portfolio page. I have went back and forth with it and can't decide what's best.

The website is at http://www.warehousemultimedia.com (http://www.warehousemultimedia.com/). Please check it out and tell me what you think.

I dont have too much to say. It looks pretty good and solid. Validates and everything. I personally and not digging the white background but i think its a stylistic thing and just an opinion. Good job.

Your website looks ok (my work firewall makes it hard to view the active content), but those logos need some work...they look like they were created in a raster format (bad) and many of them are very poorly cut out of the backgrounds. I'm not a web designer, but the rest looks good.

Thanks a lot for taking time to review my website. I appreciate the comments.

Thanks for looking over my site. Are you referring to every logo or just a few? I am noticing an issue with a few of the logos near the bottom but not with the others.

the last 5, I think and the HRC one. Are they raster?

Pardon me for saying but those logos don't look like they reflect 15 years of experience - sorry.

The website itself is fine. The text is a bit small and I could do without the green button backgrounds. However, other than that its fine.

I think WannaBrie is talking about the the compression that you did on the top banner area (please correct me if I'm wrong). It looks like you used about a quality of 40 when you exported the jpeg. For the most part, I think design businesses can afford to go for the extra 5k in image size to have a good looking image, since there are really very few clients that are surfing using dial-up connections. What really kills you in terms of speed these days is using a lot of separate images so that the user has to download a large number of small files. I would basically up the quality on the jpegs that you export in the future. I think you'll find that those little changes will make a big difference in the appearance of your site.

Overall I think it looks clean. My main concern is the bottom text in the footer. White on light gray... not a good combination.

I really enjoyed your site. I think the tabs need more contrast. It took me a few seconds to notice it; not pragmatic. The flash menu is good looking and I really appreciate that you had the foresight to ad a start/stop option; otherwise it could have just been distracting.

All in all, I give your site an 8.

Thanks a lot for the responses thus far. I am going to go ahead and have some of these changes implemented.

You are right about this. I will lighten these up a bit.

Pardon me for saying but those logos don't look like they reflect 15 years of experience - sorry.

Well before I started there were problems backing up work so I had a hard time digging up some of the better logos we have done. Still I think a few on the logo page are worth something but perhaps I should dig deeper and see if I can't find some more impressive work.

Overall I think it looks clean. My main concern is the bottom text in the footer. White on light gray... not a good combination.

I will try the text darker and see if it's a bit more readable.

Thanks a bunch for the reviews so far!

Very nice! You do some nice work. How long have you been at it?

Thanks a lot. I have been with my company for over a year now. Personally, however, I have been designing for around 5 or 6 years and building websites for around 7 years.

I am also a PHP programmer so my time is split between a few things. Thanks again.
