If you haven't see his amazing lecture, hit YouTube and find it.
If you don't know who he is, read the article, then hit YouTube and find the lecture. :)
I guarantee it will change you.
Mods, I meant to put this in OT, not Soap Box. Much obliged if someone would move.
Heh heh, I was wondering about that...

Thank you, kind sir. :)
You're welcome.
I had never heard of him until I saw the news today. As soon as I get a few minutes I want to check out this lecture.

Here's a link to his book publisher (http://www.thelastlecture.com/aboutr.htm) that contains links to his Web site and blog. The servers are understandably running very slowly. He also appeared on Oprah and one of the evening news magazine shows.

This is sad news indeed. I've only watched a very small part of the lecture, but he seemed like a very cool and inspiring man. He'll be missed, I'm quite sure.

Someone posted his lecture a while back and it brought tears to my eyes. It was a wonderful thing he did with the last stage of his life.
Selfless to the end. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Ya, he did it for his kids originally and ended up becoming famous for it. I feel so bad for his children. :(

What a wonderful legacy he left for them, though.

He's wearing a Disney Nametag on his Disney shirt!
I have some of those 'Nicest go to hell letters" lol...
Gotta watch the rest.
Edit: halfway through. A LOT of his thinking is old school Disney thinking for this Lecture.
