ya know, being creative with the hyperlink can be bothersome =(. Nice work though. One comment I could have (and really dont even count this) is on the bio, have less about what you are about, rather more of what you do, how you did it, what was the outcome, what problems were solved and executed, more action verbs.

Out of curiosity, how should a great resume look like? I'm not being an a** about this, just genuinely curious... :)

Well I posted for critiques on my resume, but no one replied :(
It's very important to me that the resume is top notch-- can you give me a critique?
Oh, and the hyperlink is like that so that employers don't google the name and come here! Thanks for the compliments, too.

well ur website certainly stands out far more then your resume.
But i read your resume and i think its to the point..
in a resume they are not looking for pretty colours and such.. all they want is the raw facts and atleast a nice layout on the details.
Good job.. maybe do some modifications but personally id just leave it..
also you said your a perfectionist.. I as well is sometimes in this area as well.. I just noticed a few things on your website.
on this image

the green and the yellow thumbnails are not aligned.. is that supposed to be?

I know it's annoying me like CRAZY! The way I made the layout wouldn't allow me to perfectly align them, but now that someone else noticed it I need to figure something out.
Still no advice on the resume anyone?

I disagree, I think the resume looks very professional, just what I would be looking for if I were doing the hiring. I think that, as someone mentioned above, you want your resume to be simple, to the point and not too "designed". However, if you do allow me to offer a suggestion, I do find that the two lists on the bottom of the resume looks awkward, the fact that they're in the same column. I think that the two lists would look better in two columns.. And give a bullet point to every Adobe program that you know so that the two columns will have 7 points on the left and 6 points on the right. But hey, that's just me.
Otherwise, I think that your portfolio site is very slick and good looking. Wish I knew more about web design. :D

Well I'm no expert on resumes so don't trust me, but after looking through your website, the PDF that comes up looks a bit bare and unbalanced.
The spacing of the top 3 lines doesn't look right to me - Visual tension.
The huge white space at the bottom of the page throws it all out of balance.
Turn off hyphenation.
Maybe a line to divide the title section from the body text could help balance things out a bit more and make it easier on the eyes.

What's hyphenation? I agree about the top 3 lines, I moved it around and changed the bottom spacing as well-- let me know how that looks.

It's a long story, but I fixed it..

I'm sorry, with all of your other skills, you don't know what hyphenation is? This really surprises me. Whatever. Different strokes, I guess.
Hyphenation is what happens when a word is too long to fit on one line completely, so it breaks across two lines, separated by a hyphen. The hyphen generally appears at the syllable breaks, unless you can't spell. ;)

Oh, well I knew that! Haha, I feel dumb now-- just didn't think about it. I was over analyzing and assuming it was some setting in InDesign! haha.
