Overall, I like it. It is clean and flows well. I do have an issue with the footer. It is a bit blurry and hard to read.

One thing you might consider doing is adding a background to the elements with the text. I say this because the footer and header come out of nowhere. So, adding a transition that gives the viewer something to make those movements to the header and footer would help.

I have been toying with the background idea. I dont like it being completely black. Was thinking about having those small repeating rows of dots as the back maybe faded a little .. not sure.

and yeah the footer needs sorting for sure

Looking at it on a FF3 and MAc and have some alignment issues . the words welcome and services do not line up correctly. I would think they should but just check that.
also you page has a lot of errors when you go to validate it. Not sure if you want to fix it or not. But I would as it shows that you can make a valid page and you get to put the w3c logos on you page. CSS has one error as well.

It looks decent. I am all for very simple portfolio pages. I think its better to not be flashy in your page design so as to leave the wow factor to your pieces

Yeah was going to get round to fixing the errors. lol. That might be a slightyl ongoing project. What did you use to highlight the errors in the code?

You are right. Keep the design of the site simple, let the work do the talking. I did spend ages in Flash but in the end i thought it be best to keep it simple and concise with the work hitting the viewer easily and with impact, not getting lost in unclean design or complicated distracting flash

YOu can validate a bunch of stuff. just punch in the website. Lower right columns have the links. If they all pass you can put a w3c tag for html and ccs validation.

i like your portfolio but would prefer to be able to scroll or click through to the next image rather than close and re open.
