Hi

I am currently underway with a website for a new record label. They have expressed an interest in having some kind of MP3 player on the site wher users can preview tracks from the label.

Is there one I can download for free and customize myself or will i be best building it in flash myself?

Thanks

i would say just build it in flash, or find one that is free to use. should be plenty out their to find for free, google is your friend :)

Make sure it's got an adjustable volume control, it's one of my pet peeves when I go to a site with an embedded player and I can't adjust the volume in the player, rather than adjusting my system volume.

There's one particularly prevalent flash player that allows you to build playlists...the jvplayer...jpplayer...something like that. I've used that a few times, it's very basic but does the job, and it integrates quite well with practically every sort of design.

Try looking at DivShare; at the least, you might like its minimalist visual style.
