***btw*** most likely they are resizing at where they are being uploaded. Make sure the size is set to at least 800x600 before uploading. Sometimes the sites are set to lower sizes or even thumbnails ;)

Ooba, I was asking about a recipe that called for marinating avos in alcohol, not unlike our dear Virgo.

It was a short, unfulfilling search.

Ok here ya go ...


Avocadso marinated in White Wine

Ingredients:

2 avocados
1 cup white wine
1 shallot
1|2 tsp chopped mint
1 clove garlic
black pepper, salt to taste


Directions:

Peel avocado, pit, slice.

To prepare marinade, chop schalotte, slice garlic, combine, add wine, mint, salt, pepper and stir up.

Cover avocado with prepared marinade, leave for 12 hours, then take avocado out and dry.

When serving, place avocado slices on a platter and top with greens
