I just posted my site ablank.us (http://ablank.us) and want to know what you think :) -
I know about the problems in IE 5.5/6 & am working those bugs out now, but if anyone using an alternative browser like Konqueror or Opera could let me know of any display issues, I'd definitely appreciate it!
Some strange alignment issues going on there. I provided a screen shot of what it looks like in Firefox.
The site in general seems a little too "techy" for my taste. But hey thats just me. I'm also not a fan of the triple menus. You have the same buttons on the home page in three different places. Just looks a little cluttered that way I think. Oh and maybe the small sans font is giving me that techy feel also.
I think that once you get the alignment issues fixed it might look better.
Well, thats what I see. Keep working on it and good luck!.

Thanks for checking it out cnic - Wish I had a screen like that! - What resolution are you using?
At a res < 1280 x 800 it definitely looks much better, but it looks like I might have to throw in some maxwidth to correct this...
Yeah I'm on a 22" monitor so I guess that makes a difference.
Good luck with it and update us when its finished.

OK so I think the layout should be where it needs to now- I holly-hacked the mainContent div to fix the ie6 problem, changed things around to lead the eye a bit better, moved inline styles to external sheet, & validated everything except for the embed tags & link targets...
cnic - or anyone else out there with a crazy large screen - how is the display? Alignment corrected? Let me know!

Generally I think the site looks good the only thing I don't like os the menu font, I jsut think it looks a bit unprofessional when compared to the rest of the site.
Maybe go with something a little more modern since that seems to be an overiding theme of the site.
Ok, here are some pics for you.
The three screen is... from left to right... Opera, Firefox, and IE. It looks like the site is the same for all. The middle monitor is 1680 x 1050, and the two outside ones are 1280 x 1024.
Seems like there are still some weird things going on here. I expected that your "Options" menu would be left aligned with the "welcome" body. Is that not the case... just seems kinda strange the way that nav is in the middle of the header. Looks like the entire header needs to shift left.
I added a closer picture of what it currently looks like in Firefox.
And the pic of the upper right of the site. Why are there two menus?
Also!!! SCROLLING IS VERY CHOPPY IN IE. Weird... I have no idea.
Ok man... hope this helps.

Perfect Cnic - thanks a lot!
I know the header alignment isn't ordinary, but that's kind of what I was going for, unconventional but easy to use.
Regarding IE, I know what you mean about the choppy scrolling, but still not quite sure exactly the reason. Maybe tweak the active content js...
Also, the double menus are for accessibility reasons, ie flash disabled or browsing with JAWS or similar.
Again, thanks for your help!
Ok man... sounds good.
Good luck with it.
